A week-end to discover horseback riding or improve your level. A training in arena and trail ride program. Our goal is to have you discover the pleasure of horse riding in nature, with the minimum level to ride safely. Our certified riding teachers and guides all speak English, they insure riders safety in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Your accommodation is at Mas de Recaute, a farmhouse, great spot for trail departure, in the Luberon Nature Park. Riding lessons are in our other equestrian center, 20 minutes far from Mas de Recaute.
Day 1: Meeting at Mas de Recaute, near Lauris, in the Luberon at 9 am. Presentations, welcome coffee. Transfer by minibus to the Pont Royal equestrian center (20 minutes). You first learn to groom and tack your horse before your first lesson (about one hour). Lunch on site in a village restaurant (not included). You can also bring your picnic. In the afternoon, your second course will perfect your fluency in handling your horse. After your lesson, return to Mas Recaute. Point your day and your progress. Dinner and overnight at the farmhouse.
Day 2: In the morning you will go for a walk in 1 1/2 hours in the hills between Durance and Luberon to discover the landscapes of Provence, olive trees, vineyards and other peach orchards, apricot, almond and discover a superb views over the Luberon, the Durance valley and beyond the Montagne Sainte Victoire and the Alpilles. In the afternoon, 2 hours horseback ride around in the valleys of the Luberon, in the heart of the Regional Natural Park. End at about 5 pm.
