We have selected a professional equestrian trail ride provider to discover the wild landscapes of the Northern Portugal: in a Portugal that remains authentic, far from the tourist crowds ! And an equestrian stay with horseback riding in the paradise island of the Azores.
We do not offer trail riding in the Alentejo: a region of Portugal that is too touristy, and we have not reached an agreement with the main horse trekking provider in the region.

NORTHERN PORTUGAL WILD HORSES
During this horseback trail ride in Portugal, meet the last wild horses in Europe. A unique adventure for nature lovers and wild open spaces. In the mountains of northern Portugal, Peneda Geres park features one of the last races of wild horses in Europe: the Garranos. From the valley of Vez, go looking for them in a varied mountainous landscape dotted with villages.
THE AZORES ATLANTIS & GREEN ISLAND
The Azores on Horseback: A stationary horseback ride around a Quinta (typical rural farmhouse) in the south of São Miguel Island, which offers an extensive network of beautiful trails that are perfect for exploring the island on horseback . You will discover new landscapes on horseback every day. For some rides, horses and riders are transfered to different starting points, allowing you to discover the variety of landscapes of the Azores, practicing various gaits. Two equestrian programs are offered: a relax program, and a more intense one for riders keen on horseback riding. Non-riders are welcome, taking advantage of the quinta's accommodation, and the non-equestrian activities and visits offered in both programs.
