INDICATIVE ITINERARY *

Day 1 - Day 1 - Saturday: Welcome.
Reception at the airport upon arrival of your flight. Transfer to your hotel in Madaba. Dinner not included as flight arrivals are usually late. Night at the hotel.

image-20230607144356-1Day 2 - Sunday: Early departure for the road of kings in the footsteps of the crusaders. First visit to the castle of Kerak located 1h30 drive from Madaba about 115 km. Visit of the Castle, one of the most important fortresses built by the Crusaders. Renaud de Châtillon and the revenge of Saladin the siege of Kerak a story of more than 1000 that your local guide will tell you! You continue your road to Shobak (about 1 hour drive). Shobak Castle, or Montreal Krak, is located on a rocky outcrop over 900 meters. Perched dramatically like a ship on the crest of a hill, Shobak Castle was the first to be built by the Crusaders in Transjordan 1000 years ago. Lunch at Shobak where the horses and the team are waiting for you. Depart on horseback on the tracks of the Hishe Forest National Park with breathtaking views of Israel and Wadi Araba. Stunning sunset over Wadi Araba. Night in bivouac.

image-20230607183024-1Day 3 - Monday: Local breakfast. The fresh mountain air is pleasant, and you leave quietly after preparing your mounts, on pleasant paths that lead you to Beida. You come across shepherds with their herds, old stone villages: proof that the hillsides were inhabited and cultivated. Night in bivouac

Day 4 - Tuesday: By steep paths you descend to Beidha Little Petra. You can see in the distance, the Djebel Haroun, Monastery of the brother of Moses. You cross the Siq al Barid and enjoy the Djebel Garoun: small plateau overlooking the Beidha region. Beidha (Arabic, the white) or sometimes Bayda: a major Neolithic archaeological site located about three kilometers north of Petra, near Siq al-Barid. In 1985, the site was included in the listing of Petra as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Archaeological excavations carried out in 1957 and 1983 have made it possible to determine three periods of occupation which image-20230608153944-1participated in the formation of this tel: a Natufian occupation in the 11th millennium BC. AD, another during the pre-ceramic Neolithic B phase in the 7th millennium BC. AD which sees the establishment of a village with masonry constructions, and finally the Nabataean presence between the 2nd century BC. J.-C. and first century BC. The archaeological site is located on the outskirts of the modern village of Beidha, which gave it its name. Night in bivouac.

Day 5 - Wednesday: You ride on the extended site of Beidha all morning, on a varied terrain allowing nice canters: the crossing of canyons. An exceptional site where human history has left its mark. Return to Wadi Musa by the paths which overlook the Bedouin village. Transfer to your hotel.

Petra à chevalDay 6: - Thursday: Petra on horseback - Very early departure from the hotel at daybreak: a tea will be offered by your guide. The crossing of Petra on horseback is done before the official opening of the site! At the pace of horses resounding on the cobblestones of sic, 1.5 km to cover before arriving in front of the Khasneh: the most famous monument of the ancient city of Petra! The horses take you on a legendary day crossing the Roman road in the early morning and a full day of site visits until nightfall when you reach the superb Seven Wonder camp! Evening around the fire and traditional music to end this exceptional ride in style. Night at the comfort camp with sanitary facilities.

Day 7 - Friday: Petra on foot - You leave your camp for the visit of Petra. The visit of classic Petra with more time on image-20230607182840-1foot is done by the mythical path, one of the most beautiful paths in the world renovated. Leaving in the morning quietly from Little Petra, a 4X4 bus takes you to the monastery. In 45 minutes less than an hour you arrive in front of this superb monument. This allows you not to climb the 3000 steps! Free day on site.
8 Days Version: Transfer to your hotel in Madaba.
10 days version: Transfer to Aqaba to enjoy an evening in the city center souk. The city lives at night and everything stays open very late. Night at the hotel in Aqaba.

Day 8 - Saturday:
8 Days Version: After breakfast, transfer to Amman airport.
image-20230124223314-110-day version: Relaxation day in the Red Sea in a pleasant complex: swimming pools, corals, and possibility of diving. At the end of the day: transfer to the Wadi Rum desert to enjoy the Bedouin nightlife. Dinner and night at the Bedouin camp.

Day 9 - Sunday:
10 days version: After breakfast, early departure for the Dead Sea: enjoy swimming and lunch in one of the 5 star hotels! Transfer to your hotel in Madaba, dinner at one of the oldest restaurants in Madaba: the Adonis Hotel which is over 120 years old, 10 minutes walk from the hotel.

Day 10 - Monday:
10 days version: After breakfast, transfer to Amman airport.

In the evening, the meals are taken on the camps, or in the restaurants of the hotels, a dinner in one of the oldest restaurant of Madaba. At noon, during horseback riding, picnics are prepared and brought by the assistance team.


LUGGAGE TRANSFERS:
Luggage are transfered every day from camps/hotels to camps/hotels by logistic vehicles.
