The trail is based in the lovely town of Trujillo and during your stay you will enjoy 2 very interesting visits to the most important towns in Extremadura: Caceres and Merida, both World Heritage Sites by UNESCO. In addition to these incredible sites, the region contains exceptional wildlife and natural landscapes which you will discover on horseback. During your stay you will enjoy 2 full days riding and 3 half days riding. The landscape during the rides is spectacular, holm and cork oaks woods and pastures, called Dehesa, the most emblematic landscape in Extremadura. image-20220129162745-1* Itinerary may vary due to weather or other circumstances.
The date October 8-14 includes a visit by car to Guadalupe town instead to Cáceres town. On October 12th, Spain celebrates its National Day (Fiesta Nacional), more popularly known as Día de La Hispanidad (Day of the Spanish World). One of the most significant elements of the Día de la Hispanidad, which persists to this day, is the homage to the Virgin Our Lady of Guadalupe (Virgen de Guadalupe), venerated in Spain with a Pilgrimage to the Monastery on Horseback.
