Doma Vaquera internship in Andalusia in the Sierra de Andujar.
Doma vaquera is an equestrian activity which, according to the Royal Spanish Riding Federation, consists of successively performing a series of exercises taken from those performed in the field to work with cattle. This is the typical Andalusian type of riding, where you work with the 2 reins in one hand, and with quick starts and stops, essential for working with "corrida" bulls. This type of riding was introduced by the Spaniards to America and inspired "western dressage".
José Maria, farrier by profession for 30 years, but rider by vocation from an early age: he has developed a breeding business and is dedicated to the preparation of leisure horses and "doma vaquera" dressage. A passionate about horses but also about sharing with riders!
In order to be able to visit the region during your free afternoons, we recommend that you rent a car to visit Cordoba, Seville and Jaén, discovering a region of Andalusia rich in culture, landscapes and gastronomy.

It was wonderful !!!! The instructor is very invested in helping the student get things correct, horses great, village fantastic workers in the barn outstandingly friendly.
Thank you for your connection that allowed you to offer this. I want to return next year! The hotel is great - clean, quiet, modern and in a great location. There are lots of historic things to see in the village and in other villages. The host contacted a tour guide so that I could learn about the village (I asked and there was no problem, and I was contacted by the guide within a couple hours) The village. Dates back to the Bronze Age !
