On your arrival day, you can arrive at any time, but it will normally only be possible to access your room after 4 p.m. On the day of your departure, you must leave your room before noon, but you can leave later in the day.
The exact lesson times will be agreed with your instructor and will depend on your wishes, the availability of horses and the number of participants.
Lessons are always on a private basis, allowing you to focus entirely on what you want to achieve, whether it's strengthening your stance, improving your lateral work, or working on the paces.
The Head Instructor is an experienced rider and trainer with a creative, passionate and direct approach to his teaching.
You can choose an intensive program with two lessons per day, or a more relaxed program with one lesson per day. When you are not riding, you can attend the horse training sessions performed by the staff or the work sessions of other riders ... or just rest at the swimming pool !

MEETING/DEPARTURE

MEETING:
In the afternoon usually Sunday, directly at the equestrian center or at Lisbon airport: optional transfer.

DEPARTURE:
Usually Saturday after breakfast. Optional transfer to Lisbon.

LISBON AIRPORT TRANSFERS:
150 € / car of 4 people / trip = 300 € round trip.
190 € / car of 6 people / trip = 380 € round trip.
Transfers are payable directly locally cash or by card.

CAR RENTAL:
We recommend car rental, which is particularly advantageous in Portugal, on the site www.autoeurope.fr.

FLIGHTS:
Flights to Portugal are not included in our prices because it is generally more interesting to book your flights yourself, an inclusive package is generally more expensive with the agency commissions. However, we are at your disposal to help you find the best rates or to offer you a transport trip included on request.

Riding

RIDING LEVEL:
All levels. The best is to be comfortable at the three paces: walk, trot, balanced and independent rider. Although the school horses are all very well trained, calm and safe, it is obligatory to wear a helmet. Maximum weight: 90kg.. INSTRUCOR:
High level English speaking instructor.

PROCESS:
Portugal equestrian holidays Usually you will warm up with an instructor and then move on to another instructor for the remainder of your course. You can choose an intensive program with two lessons per day or only one lesson per day.

HORSES:
Lusitanian purebred horses.

TACK: Dressage saddles. You can also ask to try the traditional Portuguese saddles.

Comfort

ACCOMMODATION:
Comfortable 2 person bedrooms, single bedroom with supplement. It is a very comfortable accommodation with swimming pool and tennis court.
Bedrooms with private bathrooms. Each bedroom is equipped with a fireplace, TV and music player. Air conditioners for the warmer months. Each bedroom has a garden or a terrace.
There is a swimming pool (unheated) with barbecue and gym as well as a tennis and basketball court. Massages are available with supplement. The equestrian center is a few minutes walk from the main quinta.

A civil liability and travel insurance (assistance/repatriation) are compulsory. A cancellation insurance is strongly recommended.
A payment by credit card can make you benefit from its possible insurance (check your contract).

Your personal information (birth date, height, weight, riding level & experience, health information, etc.) are contractuals. The facility / guide / instructor may exclude on site and without compensation, any person whose information is different from the information provided on the registration form, and/or who does not correspond to the conditions of participation.

3. INSURANCES:
Cap Rando is covered for its professional civil liability: GENERALI contract n ° AL974010.
To register on a Cap Rando holiday, you must be covered by an individual liability insurance covering your activity, individual accident, assistance, repatriation, and possibly cancellation (strongly recommended not to lose your payment in case of cancellation for a reason covered by a cancellation insurance).
We offer to Europe Union, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Norway residents (only) to subscribe the "Cap Security" insurance from Chapka Insurance. This covers you for cancellation, interruption of stay, individual accident, assistance 24h / 24h, repatriation, medical expenses abroad, luggage insurance, civil liability. You can also only subscribe a "Cap Cancellation" cancellation insurance if you have insurance covering other risks.

For other country citizens: if you pay by credit card, depending on your card, you may be fully covered: check your contract.

4. PAYMENT:
- For a stay starting at more than 60 days: It is requested at registration: 50% of the price of the stay, the payment of the insurance possibly subscribed, the transport possibly requested, the booking fees. The balance is to be paid 60 days before the start date of the stay.
- For a stay starting at less than 60 days: Full payment is requested upon registration.
- For a stay starting at less than 21 days: Full payment by credit card is requested upon registration.
- If these are the last places available: Payment by credit card is requested upon registration.
You can pay:
- By credit card on our secure payment website: You will be directed to the payment link after completing the online booking form.
- By bank transfer: Our bank information will be sent to you after reception of your booking form.
For a quick processing and to secure your registration, receipt of your confirmation file within 24-48 hours: choose a payment by credit card. In addition: payment by credit card can allow you to benefit from its possible insurance.
Please note: your reservation will only be confirmed after receipt of your payment.

5. CONFIRMATION:
You will receive a confirmation file and contract with the invoice and all useful information within 24-48 hours after reception of your registration form and payment.

6. TRANSPORTS:
Before booking your transport: we advise you to wait for the receipt of the confirmation file and check that your transports feet with the meeting/separation times of the offered transfers. We recommend booking refundable transports.

7. CANCELATION POLICY:
Please note: Any stay may be canceled if there are insufficient bookings to ensure the stay up to 20 days before the date of a stay of more than 6 days, 7 days for a stay of 2 to 5 days. In this case, you may be offered a replacement stay or a departure with a supplement, if these proposals do not suit you: a full refund (unless you have accepted a possible supplement upon registration), excluding booking fees and possible non-refundable transport, is guaranteed without compensation.

Warm welcome, lovely staff, very good instructors who adapt to everyone's level.
Nothing to say. I asked to take a tral ride around the estate, there were two of us riders, accompanied by two instructors. School horses, very calm.
Exceptional horses, very good riders can ride very high level horses. Me and my beginner level in dressage, I was able to have fun with school horses. I rode different horses.
Superb facilities, equipment, everything is nickel, perfectly clean, very beautiful riding school, beautiful sheltered outdoor arena, lunging ring, there is even a very beautiful working riding area. In short, a dream for riders.
The place has a lot of charm. so there is no restaurant strictly speaking, but it is good, simple. The swimming pool is very pleasant.
Cap Rando services: 1st time with Cap Rando and everything went very well.

Very warm welcome, high quality service in a family atmosphere. Rita and Carlos, the owners see us regularly to chat with us. All 3 instructors of the stable (Joao, Rui and Miguel) are at the top during the dressage lessons with relevant corrections and valuable advice, as well as their choice of the suitable horse for the lesson according to the rider's objective.
Manual including the rules of appropriate behavior in the stable and with stallions. Helmet required and can be provided on site. The instructors are omnipresent during the lessons.
The horses are well educated and trained to a high standard. During 7 lessons I rode 4 different horses (Furkado, Alaia, a 19 year old alzan horse and Chardonney). Each horse was chosen according to my objectives that I wanted to work on.
The tack is generally well maintained. Each horse has its own saddle and there are several bridles to choose from which are adjusted before each session by the instructor. A suggestion for improvement would be a communication system with headphones during classes to better hear the instructor.
Establishment in the style of a very clean and comfortable quinta. The meals are fresh, healthy and varied, made like at home. All the guests eat together and we met very nice people from other countries! A beautiful indoor swimming pool and recreational rooms including TV that we didn't even use.

It was a great stay for us. I have no suggestions to make.
