HORSE RIDING IN THE AZORES

Welcome to our equestrian holidays in the Azores: a collection of nine green and volcanic islands, in the middle of the Atlantic ocean, with a wonderful climate that creates a paradise for orchid lovers (especially on the Flores island). The Azores are also one of the best places in the world to see whales and dolphins and among the most observed species: the sperm whale, the fin whale, common dolphin, bottlenose dolphin and Atlantic spotted dolphin. We invite you to discover the São Miguel green island, which offers a vast network of tracks and trails to explore the Azores on horseback. Its trails have been created over the centuries through the countryside, and most are still used by rural farmers for their daily activities. Accommodation throughout the week of your stay is a typical 17th century Quinta: very simple, but warm bedrooms, all equipped with private bathrooms, television ... A family welcome and local cuisine based on local products ( seasonal vegetables and fruits, fresh fish ... a treat !
