Tunisia is a relatively small country but with a diverse climate and geography. A popular destination for horse riding, Tunisia is one of the easiest African countries to visit. Horse riding is a delight for all the family.

The Bedouin tribes that arrived in the 11th century further strengthened the Arabic language and the Muslim religion. Tunisia's location as the northernmost country in Africa and its ideal climate have allowed many civilisations to pass through the country over the last 3,000 years. Phoenicians, Romans, Vandals, Byzantines, Turks, Spanish and French have all left their mark in stone or mosaics on the walls of the ancient city of Carthage and on the edge of the Sahara Desert. With eight UNESCO World Heritage Sites, there is no shortage of exceptional archaeological sites to visit.
The Sahara Desert, which stretches across the entire southern region of the country, is accessible to adventurous riders on horseback. There are also many adventure tours such as camel rides, 4x4s, quad bikes, sand skiing. Star Wars fans can visit the filming locations of Tataouine and Ounk Jemel.
